The main principle of the yacht saloon design is simple: everything related to technical operation stays out of sight, while everything meant for guests remains accessible and comfortable.
The saloon is located next to the enclosed wheelhouse, allowing the skipper to steer the yacht from inside while staying connected with guests. This creates a shared space rather than separation between crew and passengers.
The galley is fully hidden on the port side and screened by the staircase leading down into the yacht saloon. Ahead, a corridor leads to the forward cabins, keeping traffic flow logical and unobtrusive.

Large windows fill the yacht saloon with natural light. On sunny days, curtains soften the atmosphere, while an overhead hatch provides additional ventilation and daylight.

Opposite the seating area, the space remains open. Storage cabinets line the walls discreetly. Some of them conceal refrigerators—there are three in total—as well as a bar and dedicated storage for tableware.
Yacht saloon space and comfort
Thanks to its size, the yacht saloon accommodates a home cinema system. A projector is placed on a shelf behind the sofa, while the screen retracts from the ceiling opposite. Two forward-facing speakers ensure quality sound.
Music is, of course, available in the yacht saloon. Guests can listen to radio or connect their smartphones via Bluetooth.

The yacht saloon is equipped with 220V sockets, powered either by shore connection in a marina or by a marine diesel generator located in the aft technical compartment. Air conditioning is also installed.
How the yacht saloon is built
Beneath the apparent simplicity of the yacht saloon lies a complex technical structure. Unlike many yachts where the engine sits under the stairs, Ganesh houses two engines directly beneath the saloon floor.
The hydraulic lifting keel system is also located here, along with core comfort systems: freshwater pumps, water heater, electric seawater supply for toilets, and other essential equipment.
Storage is everywhere but never intrusive. Under and behind the saloon seating, numerous lockers hold supplies in quantities sufficient for long offshore passages.
At the forward end of the yacht saloon, completely separate from the wheelhouse, is a dedicated navigation table. Its front panel opens to reveal backup paper charts covering most of the Mediterranean. The tabletop itself folds out into a practical workspace.
When the yacht is at anchor or in port, many elements of the yacht saloon can be easily transformed or stowed away. In these moments, the space becomes a true living room—comparable to that of a well-designed seaside house.
