I’m Alexey Sukhoverkhov — a certified Royal Yachting Association captain, writer, journalist, and web developer. I combine a love for the sea with professional expertise, turning every sailing adventure into a memorable story and every digital project into a vivid, flawless creation. On board, I guide the yacht with skill and passion, sharing my knowledge and inspiration with guests, making each voyage an unforgettable experience.

Learning, Practice & Life at Sea
My sailing path combines structured training and real-life experience. I completed RYA Competent Crew and Day Skipper courses in Greece, followed by Day Skipper Theory and Coastal Skipper / Yachtmaster Theory. I later passed the RYA Coastal Skipper practical exam in the UK — during winter conditions in the North Sea. I also hold the UK SRC VHF Radio Licence. Beyond certificates, I spent seven years living aboard a yacht, gaining deep practical knowledge of life, sailing, and decision-making at sea.
