I love yachts. Many people do, but not everyone understands why. To love yachts means loving freedom, the sea, horizons, and a different rhythm of life that is impossible to find on land.

Love yachts and freedom of choice

Only a few adults openly admit: I love yachts and want them to be part of my life. In reality, turning this dream into experience is not as difficult as it may seem.

One option is to join a yacht crew for a week or two during a vacation. Not as a passive guest, but as a real crew member, participating in passages, sails, and daily life on board.

The key is to discuss expectations in advance with the skipper. Explain that you do not want just a sea holiday—you love yachts and want to be involved. In most cases, this approach is welcomed.

Even on a relaxed cruise, extra hands are always useful. And for those who truly love yachts, this is often the first step toward a deeper connection with life at sea.
