A seaside vacation does not always mean that the sea is truly nearby. Even hotels on the first line often require stairs, paths, or daily effort just to reach the water. A yacht offers a different approach to a seaside vacation — living directly at the water’s edge.
Seaside Vacation on a Yacht
On a yacht, a seaside vacation can take several forms. The most appealing option is anchoring in a quiet bay and swimming without crowds. In such places, the sea often belongs only to your group, with no other boats or tourists nearby.
Entering the water takes just a few steps down a swim ladder. On the sailing yacht Ganesh, there are two options: a side ladder reaching sea level and a dedicated swimming platform at the stern.
If you want to go ashore and walk on the beach, that is also easy. The yacht is equipped with an inflatable dinghy powered by a small engine or oars. No special license is required for such boats in most European countries.
Seaside Vacation in a Marina
When the yacht is moored in a harbor or marina, a seaside vacation remains just as accessible. In Greece and many other countries, swimming areas are usually located very close to yacht berths and are free to use.
This means there is no need to climb hills or long staircases. At most, it is a short walk. In some cases, the dinghy can also be used to reach nearby beaches.
Comfort During a Seaside Vacation
Life on a modern yacht is very similar to staying in a good hotel. There is hot and cold water, electricity, and full bathroom facilities. In addition, the yacht offers a fully equipped kitchen, a saloon with a home cinema system, and a barbecue grill on deck.
This combination allows a seaside vacation that includes comfort, privacy, and direct access to the sea — without the limitations of fixed shore accommodation.
Currently, a seaside vacation with us is available in two formats: a relaxed stay without mandatory sailing passages, or a sailing journey through the Greek islands.
